Our history
In the year 2020, when the pandemic was at its highest point, death, insecurity and economic instability affected more than 80% of hispanic families, the organization called mutual help for south Brooklyn, supported Hispanic families, in the Brooklyn area. They provided food directly to the family homes, which at that time, did not have any kind of help. In the midst of the problems that were experienced, the idea of helping hispanic mothers so that they could have a source of income arose">.

About us
Brooklyn Community Cleaners - BKCC
It is a cleaning cooperative run by hispanic women who work within the community to create jobs for hispanic mothers with fair wages, decent treatment and a family atmosphere. We train each woman, and we provide her with the necessary tools to offer a good cleaning service to the families that request it. BKCC aims to give the best treatment to our clients based on respect, trust and good service.
Our mission
That each family that opens its doors to us can have clean homes free of chemicals and pollutants that are harmful to health and the environment. Have a decent job where our dignity and integrity are respected and we are treated without discrimination. And achieve a valued salary based on our work, performance and experience.
Our vision
We see BKCC as part of the progress, growth and empowerment of Hispanic women within society. We work to generate income to support our families and give our children a decent life. BKCC aims to help Latin women feel part of a social group and integrated into a society, where our personal values and domestic work are respected. We want that the work of cleaning homes be qualified and recognized as a real job in relation to other jobs. We aim to reach more Hispanic families and promote growth and economic and labor independence and to create awareness in our society of the importance of Hispanic women in the labor, social and economic spheres, and obtain fair government support.Services
